Tweeted Bloomberg reporter Katie Roof on Aug. 28:

“So many ‘fake exclusives’ out there! There’s no such thing as a ‘tech exclusive’ or a ‘business exclusive’ or a regional exclusive or whatever nonsense they come up with. You’re either the only publication or you’re not.”

Katie appears to be unaware that PR pros understand this and earn their living by maximizing clients’ visibility. As Omar said, “it’s all in the game.”
