News.com's Stefanie Olsen today reported how Wall Street's meltdown will affect the tech business.
Former InfoWorld Test Center analyst Mario Apicella has joined former IDG colleague Deni Connor's independent analyst firm, Storage Strategies Now (SSG-Now), as director of its Technology and Validation Service. In this capacity, Apicella will will test networked storage products under contract for SSG-Now clients. Instead of testing products for InfoWorld readers, Apicella now will report his findings privately, to vendors, to guide their product development and marketing strategies.
"We aren't going to comment on management changes -- we never do," says a Forbes spokeswoman in response to last week's Valleywag rumor that Forbes.com and Forbes magazine will become a single organization with Forbes.com CEO Jim Spanfeller at the top.
