"Half the energy in America is used in building [new buildings], or operating [older] buildings," says Greentech Media EIC Michael Kanellos. That's a key reason why Greentech is staging the Green Building Summit, set for Thurs. Jun. 11 at SRI International HQ in Menlo Park, CA. "There's a huge opportunity" in focusing on buildings, Kanellos says. USA Today, Earth2Tech and CNET all were invited to cover the summit, Kanellos says.
