The Tech Media This Week web page is open to the public. Since the audio is available for free, we decided that the web page should be free, too. Only subscribers can see the list of previous TMTW podcasts at the bottom of the page, however.
User-Generated Circulation
You know about user-generated content. How about user-generated circulation?
If you've ever used Twitter and forwarded a link to your followers (probably using TinyURL.com), you've generated circulation. If you've ever promoted a story on Digg or posted a bookmark to Del.icio.us, you've generated circulation. Publishers are noticing this sort of behavior and are striving to monetize it.
Today we speak with Frank Cutitta, a senior IDG executive focused on this emerging trend of user-generated circulation. Please enjoy our ten-minute audio interview -- in the return of the SWMS Tech Media This Week podcast.
