RSS-as-Battleground for the IT Trades

The IT trades compete in many ways, and one of them is with RSS. How many feeds does each title provide? How are they segmented?

We've been studying this lately and here are some nuggets for you:

* eWeek/Ziff Davis Enterprise has 137 feeds, just nine more than Computerworld at 128. Network World has 71, InfoWorld only 21 and InformationWeek even less than that at 19. What a gap! We'll examine additional IT destinations in subsequent SWMS research.

Having been in marketing for 17 years before deciding to work for LAN Times (which was owned by Novell circa 1988), Deni has seen “a complete revolution of the circle.” While many thought “mainframes were going away… most business still rely on mainframe for critical apps.” Even though she’s been around a long time, she is very approachable and constantly interested in learning as much as she can about the evolving tech landscape.
